JP Fraley (1923-2011) from Hitchins, in Carter County, Kentucky was a celebrated fiddler who performed widely in Kentucky, throughout the country and several times overseas He and his wife Annadeene, established the Fraley Festival of Traditional Music in 1970 at Carter Caves State Park in Carter County, KY, which continues to the present Danielle (pronounced Danny-Elle) Fraley is their daughter
