played and sung by Asher and Little Jimmie Sizemore and recorded 04-05-40 by radio station, WHAS in Louisville, Kentucky
From 1933 to about 1943, the Sizemores were regulars on the Grand Ole Opry They also had programs on Louisville's WHAS and were heard widely by way of recordings on several other stations throughout the Midwest and South Jimmie was only 5 years old when they started singing together Asher, from Pike County, Kentucky, was among the first in country music radio to substantially augment income through over-the-air sales of paperback books
